Port Macquarie Base Hospital Mental Health Expansion
The Mental health unit is attached to the base hospital. This project was a combination of refurbishment of the existing facility plus an expansion of a new build (24 bed facility).
This project was a design and construction package.
Plumbing work included:
Plumbing design to accommodate hydraulics and civil stormwater systems
Civil stormwater system connected to the on-site retention basins to prevent erosion and potential damage
Multiple concrete stormwater pit system installed in accordance with government standards
Installation of anti-vandal tapware and fixtures
Designed for the prevention and minimisation of patient self-harm
Roofing work included:
2000m² Colorbond Klip-lok 700 roofing
VELUX Skylights used to incorporate multiple skylights for natural lighting
50mmm colorbond round downpipes
200mm half round guttering – with blue mountain mesh fire-rated leaf guards
Colorbond Custom Orb wall cladding

We worked in conjunction with our friends at Edge Constructions, for which we were responsible for the roofing and hydraulics of a new STEM Room Building.
Our scope of works included:
Extensions to existing sewer drainage and installation of new extensions.
Rectification works to existing stormwater drainage system and extension of stormwater drainage system on the new build.
Plumbing work included:
New hot water heaters
New rainwater tank
8x new toilet suits
2x wall mounted urinals
2x wall basins
New disabled toilet suite
Wall basin and shower
New Eyewash System
Roofing work included:
Installation of new Colorbond roof including fascia, gutters
Roofing Renewal - 155 Horton Street Port Macquarie
This building consists of 9 local shops with 1200m² of roofing.
The leaking original zincalume Roofing was renewed using Lysaght Colorbond Klip-lok 700 roofing.
The completed job included:
Hurricane Ventilators
150mm half-round guttering
Bradford 80mm glasswool anticon insulation
Commercial Office Complex - 149 Gordon Street Port Macquarie
Three level building comprising of commercial offices and top floor residential units and an underground car park.
